America Cologne

America Cologne by Perry Ellis In 1996, the wonderful new Cologne America by Perry Ellis was released. This masculine scent contains top notes of pineapple, bergamot, oregano, anise and fern. Middle notes are lavender, geranium, basil, palmarosa, vetiver and neroli. Finally, the base consists of cedar, sandalwood, musk, leather and amber.

Perry Ellis' First Fashion Though his brand didn't launch until his 1978, he first entered the business world as a buyer and merchandiser. He holds a master's degree in retail from New York University. While in Virginia, he co-founded a retail business, but once he returned to New York, he saw an opportunity to create his own women's line. After launching his official brand, Ellis expanded into other areas such as menswear, accessories and fragrances. The company's first perfume was launched in his 1985. Ellis passed away in his 1986, but his legacy lives on in all his new works, including his Cologne America.
