Armani Code Perfume

Giorgio Armani's Armani Code perfume was launched in 2006. Armani Code is a floral women's fragrance with citrus and white floral accords. It has a medium to long shelf life and moderate residual quantity. The perfect evening fragrance for fall and winter. Top notes are Italian orange, jasmine and bitter orange, followed by middle notes of orange blossom and ginger. Vanilla and sandalwood join the powerful base notes of honey. This perfume is a collaboration of International Flavors and Fragrance (Iff) perfumers Carlos Benaime, Olivier Polge and Dominique Ropion.

Giorgio Armani is known for its style and success, from luxurious high-end to more youthful fashion. Before taking his first design job at Nino Cerruti in the 1960s, Armani worked at the Rinascente department store in Milan, Italy. He worked as a freelance designer in numerous fashion houses in the early 1970s, and Armani felt confident in establishing his own style. He launched his 1975 collection, expanded the brand, signed a perfumery contract with L'Oréal, and launched his first Signature His fragrance in 1982.
