Black Opium Floral Shock Perfume

Launched in 2017, Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Floral Shock Perfume Black Opium Floral Shock is a floral-fruity gourmand women's fragrance with main accords of white floral, citrus and fruity. The bottle has the same dark, square shape as her original Black Opium perfume, but features black glitter that fades to reveal pink. Top notes are bergamot, lemon, pear and freesia. The center has gardenia, orange blossom, white flowers and radiant notes. Base notes of coffee, white musk and amberwood add depth and support. Renowned perfumers Honorine Blanc, Olivier Cresp, Nathalie Larson and Marie Salmagne co-developed this fragrance. This fragrance features a soft scent and moderate persistence for autumn, winter and spring.

As a young man, Yves Saint Laurent got a job as Christian Dior's assistant and, after Dior's death four years later, ran the fashion house. Saint Laurent founded his own fashion house after completing his military service and quickly achieved success in the 1960s, expanding from haute couture to ready-to-wear with his collections. This fragrance his line was first launched in his 1964 and has been released very extensively in collaboration with the L'Oréal Group.
