Boss Orange Cologne

Hugo Boss' Boss Orange Cologne was released in 2011. Boss Orange is a woody spicy men's fragrance with main accords of vanilla, warm spicy, woody and fruity. An eau de cologne with moderate persistence and long finish, perfect for day use from spring to autumn. Top notes of apple and coriander lead the way, while middle notes of incense and Sichuan pepper add depth. Base notes of vanilla and woody complete the scent.

Hugo Boss founded his uniform business in 1924 in Metzingen, Germany. His company struggled for the first seven years before he sold uniforms to the Nazi party and became a member. After World War II, he was unable to continue his business. He died in his 1948, but his son-in-law, Eugen Hawley, took over his ownership and management responsibilities. The business shifted to manufacturing ready-made suits for men. In 1985 the company achieved the necessary growth to be listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In the same year the first fragrances appeared on the market.
