Revlon's Charlie Blue Perfume, launched in 1973, this classic women's fragrance is Charlie Blue. Aromatic and earthy accords are perfectly blended to create a sophisticated perfume. Opening notes include sweet anise and fresh tarragon. Heart notes of peach, rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, geranium, hyacinth and carnation are fruity and light. Cedarwood, sandalwood, oakmoss, vanilla, warm musk and iris complete the scent.

During the Great Depression, brothers Charles and Joseph Revson collaborated with chemist Charles Lachman to create a colored nail polish. This varnish was distinctly opaque and dried to a thorough opacity, unlike the common colored varnishes of the time. This single product was a huge success in drugstores and department stores, and the Revlon brand was born.

The American brand soon began producing a range of cosmetics and beauty care products, including fragrances and lipsticks. His first fragrance was launched in 1935, and dozens of fragrances have been launched since then.
