Charlie Red Perfume

Revlon Charlie Red Perfume Launched in 1993, Revlon Charlie Red is a sweet and elegant fragrance for sophisticated women with a modern sensibility. Top notes decorate the skin with orange blossom, violet, peach, plum, gardenia and blackcurrant. Heart notes explore the fragrant notes of tuberose, jasmine, orchid, ylang-ylang rose, lily of the valley and orchid. Base notes are amber, musk, honey and sandalwood.

In 1932, Charles Revson, his brother Joseph Revson, and Charles Lachman founded Revlon in New York City. The three founded what would become a multi-million dollar company during the Great Depression. The first product the company launched was a new nail polish that used pigments instead of dyes. In 1973, the Charlie series of perfumes was developed. This was distinguished by the first perfume advertisement featuring a woman in trousers. By the end of the year, Charlie helped grow the organization's net sales to over his $506 million.
