Fidi Perfume by Guy Laroche Fidi was launched in 1966 and was the first women's perfume launched by fashion designer Guy Laroche. Created by perfumer Josephine Catapano and named after the Fiji Islands in the South Pacific. Top notes include hyacinth, galbanum and lemon for a fresh initial scent. Carnation, jasmine and Bulgarian rose are some of the notes that make up the floral heart. Base notes include sandalwood, balm, patchouli, musk and oakmoss. Suitable for formal occasions or just a normal day at the office, it's the perfect everyday scent.

Guy Laroche is a French-born fashion designer who started designing his hats. He emigrated to the United States in 1955 to study the intricacies of garment making. Upon returning to France in 1957, he founded his own clothing brand. In 1966, Laroche launched its first perfume for women, Fiji. The Laroche perfume line continues to be successful today.
