Jovan Island Gardenia Perfume

Released in 1982, Jovan's Jovan Island Gardenia perfume transports you to the exotic gardens of a tropical island. Radiant notes of coconut and peach form the top notes. Jovan was founded in 1968 in Chicago. Founder Bernard Mitchell successfully sold best-selling fragrances for over a decade before selling the company to The Beecham Group. At the end of the 1980s, the company was acquired again and renamed Quintessence. Quintessence he merged with Coty in the early 1990s, but the original name remained intact and many classic perfumes are still sold.
