So de la Renta Perfume by Oscar de la Renta Launched in 2012, So de la Renta is a refreshing fragrance for women with tropical notes for bright days. This perfume was designed with the expertise of perfumer Ilias Hermandis. Fruity notes of clementine, watermelon, mango and kiwi are joined by cardamom, freesia and gardenia. The heart of the rich and sweet scent is composed of peony, narcissus, white lotus and sambac her jasmine. End notes include bourbon vanilla, musk, plum and wood, giving the perfume a pleasant woody scent.

Oscar de la Renta left home in the Dominican Republic when he was only 18 to study painting and art at the San Fernando Academy in Madrid. During his time in Spain, he worked under one of Spain's top designers, Cristóbal Balenciago. De la Renta then went to Paris to work for Antonio Castillo, head of Lanvin. He also designed for Elizabeth Arden in New York before developing his own award-winning brand.
