Released in 2015, Azzaro's Chrome Intense Cologne, Chrome Intense is a vibrant, fresh fragrance for men. This cologne is delicately blended with spicy musk and green citrus notes. Opening notes include bergamot, grapefruit, ginger and hedione. Middle notes include water jasmine, ozonic notes and lichen. The base contains woody notes, warm amber, yerba mate and musk.

Loris Azzaro opened his fashion workshop in 1965 after creating for his wife a popular collection of beaded bags, jewelry and women's accessories that were becoming popular among locals. His designs were eventually worn by prominent figures and celebrities of the time, including Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin.

Azzaro launched his first original his fragrance in 1975, based on the work of the surrealist painter Salvador Dali. A men's fragrance followed in 1978, and since then over 70 perfumes and colognes have been created. In the 1990s the brand renewed and launched new fragrances. This move caused a significant growth in the market.
