Contradiction Cologne

Released in 1998, Calvin Klein's Contradiction Cologne is an oriental woody cologne for men with main accords of Aromatic, Citric, Woody, Fresh Spicy and Green. Created by Perfumers Carlos Benaime and Pierre Warnier at International Flavors and Fragrance, this fragrance has just the right amount of persistence and lingering finish, making it perfect for spring days. Top notes are lime, lavender, lemon, clary sage and mandarin. Middle notes are cardamom, pepper, coriander, nutmeg, base notes are vetiver, musk, sandalwood and ebony. American Fashion His designer, Calvin his Klein, did designs in various New York City stores before launching his own line in 1968. He quickly became known in the elite fashion scene for his clean lines, but achieved mainstream fame in 1978 with designer denim jeans. His brand's popularity grew in the 1980s and his 1990s with his line of underwear and lingerie. The company was then acquired by Philips van Heusen in his 2002. The first fragrance was launched in 1981 and is still a very popular fragrance line. Coty now owns the fragrance license agreement.
