Tom Ford Noir Cologne by Tom Ford, Tom Ford Noir is a fragrance launched in 2012. Top notes include Italian Bergamot, Verbena, Caraway, Pink Pepper and Violet Blossom. The heart of the fragrance is composed of black pepper, nutmeg, Tuscan iris resin, Egyptian geranium, Bulgarian rose and clary sage. The scent ends with opoponax, amber, Indonesian patchouli, vetiver, civet and vanilla.

Thomas Carlisle Ford founded his eponymous company in 2005. Known internationally for his design and fragrance work, Tom Ford also ventured into the film industry with the 2009 film A Single Man, which was well received by critics and fans alike. Having studied architecture at Parsons School of Design, his primary interest was not necessarily in the fashion industry. However, during an internship abroad, Ford realized his passion for the industry and began to pursue it, with great success. He held positions first at Kathy Hardwicke, then Perry Ellis, before leading Yves Saint Laurent's career launch marketing campaign after its takeover by Gucci.
